Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this RC Manufacturing Steel M-Series Underbody Toolbox. Now this toolbox is going to be great for you if maybe you're like an electrician or a plumber or a general contractor and you're looking for a secure, rugged storage solution to keep your tools organized and accessible on the job. This is really gonna be great for you if you utilize your truck or trailer for work or personal use and you want to maximize the available storage without compromising cargo capacity. So this is going to be great for your flatbed trucks, your dump trucks, or trailers. And this toolbox is going to mount to the underbody of your truck or trailer to give you up to 11.25 cubic feet of secure storage.

And I wanna point out that brackets and hardware are not included with this, so that's something you would have to pick up separately that's gonna work best for your particular application. Before we go any further, let me give you some measurements here just so you can be confident this is going to work for you. So looking at the overall, we're gonna call this the length. So hopefully you can see that, I can barely get my arms stretched out that far, but it looks like we're sitting right at 60 inches long. And then looking at the width or the depth, let me bring this over here, hopefully you can see that, I'm gonna be measuring from the back of the box all the way to the front of the door here.

So it looks like we're sitting right at 18 inches wide. And then the height, 18 inches. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of the size and what to expect and if that's gonna work for your particular application. So let me go ahead and show you how this is going to open. This features a swing-out door here and we've got these flush mounted T handles.

So we're just gonna flip those up, give them a turn, and then the door is very robust, it's got a really good weight to it. And so as you can see, you're gonna have a clear opening here, nice and accessible. I've got my toolbox in here just to kind of give you an idea of what to expect size-wise. So just kinda like a standard toolbox that I threw in there. So quite a bit of space.

Again, 11.25 cubic feet of storage. And if you notice we have these retainer chains here that's going to keep this door from opening more than 90 degrees. And we've got some brackets in here I guess you could say. So you can actually adjust the chain so it can open up not as far as I have it. And let me go ahead and give you another angle here, hopefully that's a little bit of a closer view there. This is pretty wide obviously, so I'm limited in regards to my studio space here to take full advantage of showing you all the detail I guess you could say. But I do wanna point out that all around the perimeter here, we do have this automotive grade bulb seal. So that's gonna do a great job of protecting what you have in here from the elements, from road spray, and things like that. So it's gonna be very easy to open this and close this. Again, it has a really nice stainless steel finish on that door. It's so shiny and mirror-like that you can actually see what's going on. You can see some of the magic that takes place here at my studio in the background there. Durable hinges here as well. They do recommend that you lubricate this from time to time to keep everything running smoothly. So you're gonna get four keys here. And so I'm gonna just take one of the keys here. I said you had secure storage, so you're gonna be able to take one of these keys, lock up these key handles, and then this is going to be safe and secure. So four keys, and all four of those keys are gonna operate these locks. And I do like these flush mounted handles because if you got a loop on your work pants or something like that, you're not gonna have to worry about the loop getting stuck on the handle when you're walking by. And it's really gonna look great too whether you have this on your truck or your trailer. Now this is made here in the USA of heavy duty 14 gauge steel. And this features a textured black powder coat finish. And I think that's gonna hold up really well for you. You can see that there. So this is gonna give you enhanced durability, it's gonna give you corrosion resistance. And I said this is heavy duty, and this is gonna weigh probably about 140 pounds. I needed help getting it up on my table here. So it's a rugged steel. All that to say when you are installing this, it'll probably be a good idea to have extra support to lift this up into place on those brackets that you get. So whether you're a contractor needing reliable, secure storage for your tools or an outdoor enthusiast even looking for a sturdy solution for your equipment, this toolbox is gonna be a great item for you to consider.
